As part of my technical writing studies at BCIT, I learned graphic design and digital illustration skills including:

  • how to create vector illustrations
  • how to manipulate bitmaps
  • how to create composite image
  • colour theory
  • lighting techniques
  • how to create tables, graphs and charts

The following images demonstrate my skill with illustrations.

Valve and pump composite
The pump on the left was an existing bitmap illustration. I added the valve drawing on the right and the call-out text.
WWI British Army Compass
Using a photograph of a vintage WW1 British Army compass as my guide, I created this vector illustration.

 

Gantt Chart
I drew this Gaant chart as a vector illustration.
Telephone Vector Drawing
