As much as I consider myself a super-user, Mari trumps my know-how with ease. As it should be with social media, Mari is extremely generous with what she knows and posts terrific information about all aspects of Facebook.

Happy Social Media Day
The socially minded folks over at Mashable have declared June 30 Social Media Day and I’m happy to celebrate with them. This is not just another greeting card holiday but rather a chance to pause and reflect on the amazing, personalized communities each of us has created online.
Many are gathering in person to celebrate at Meetups around the world and I raise a glass to them all and say ‘Happy Social Media Day!’ I’ll be attending a small celebration with a friend I’ve known since 1988 but who I rarely see in the real world. We’ll be spending some quality time together shortly.
