Tonight, I’ll gather with family, friends, students and colleagues at Douglas College’s Entrepreneur of the Year awards.  Nine awards will be presented including the High Tech Award for which Beachcomber Communications is a finalist.  I’d like to congratulate my fellow category finalists. Glenda Watson Hyatt runs Soaring Eagle Communications, a company that works to make Internet communication possible for those with disabilities. Meanwhile, Brett Xu’s firm, Unimaple Technology Ltd., offers website design services. I wish them both much success.
