In the ephemera of the Internet, I saw a tweet about merit badges for FourSquare accomplishments last week. 
I collected badges with great pride as a child. I still have my Brownie & Girl Guide accomplishment badges and the Canadian Figure Skating Association badges I earned between grades 3 and 8.
Something about this idea of badges appeals to me. Why stop at just FourSquare badges?
I could see Facebook badges for different game accomplishments.
Perhaps more badges for volume of tweet milestones on Twitter.
Conference specific badges would be cool too – kind of a “I was there” brag book on your satchel, laptop or sleeve.
I’d wear them for the fun of it – would you?
