One of my Facebook friends recently posted “Leaving for Europe day after tomorrow ” and I cringed.  So much of Internet safety is about common sense so why, oh why, would anyone broadcast their absence?  Not only did my friend announce their upcoming holiday but they gave potential thieves two days notice to prepare for the opportunity to rob them.
